Vinyasa Teacher Training
The Yoga Centre Winnipeg Vinyasa Teacher Training Workshop Series is open to yoga instructors who have completed their 200 hr basic certification as well as yoga students looking to deepen their knowledge and understanding of the Vinyasa Practice. It consists of four weekend workshops and a total of 40 hours.
The workshop hours are:
Friday 7:00 – 9:00 pm, Saturday 1:00 – 5:00 pm, Sunday 1:00 – 5:00 pm
Workshops will include time in practice, discussion and practical assignments

Review
Darlene has been part of the Yoga Centre Winnipeg instructor team since 2001. Her involvement in the physical fitness profession began 28 years ago, with when she received her B,Ed./Phys.Ed.. and became certified as a Manitoba Group Fitness Leader. Darlene has completed over 400 certification hours in Yoga Teacher Training through the Yoga Centre Winnipeg. Darlene’s experience with Iyengar, Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow yoga styles, results in a teaching practice that fuses fluid posture transition with the intelligence of alignment, breath and mindfulness instruction. Her “inside-out” health and wellness philosophy guides her teaching practice towards connected experiences between body, breath, mind and soul.
In addition to instructing Yoga Flow classes at the Yoga Centre Winnipeg, Darlene currently acts as the Health and Wellness Coordinator, Trainer and Yoga Instructor for the Balmoral Hall Blazer Hockey Program. She teaches Elementary Physical Education at Balmoral Hall School, leads yoga classes at Moksha Yoga Winnipeg and Strategym Personal Training Centre. Darlene is a presenter at Educational and Fitness Conferences, volunteers as fitness leader/yoga instructor for Chemo Savvy Dragon Boat Teams and has recently accepted an Ambassador Position with Lululemon Winnipeg.
Darlene shares life, love and harmony with her husband Jeff and 2 sons, Taylor and McClay.
Registration and Fees
Students may register for the full program or individual workshops.
Full program
Full program: $475.00 plus GST
A $175.00 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your space.
Payment must be in full prior to the start of the course.
All other payment arrangements will be subject to a 10% financing fee.
Missed workshops and discontinuation of course will not be refunded.
Individual workshops
Students with 200hr basic certification may use hours complete as credit towards advanced training and
professional development hours.
